Read moreRight from the start Brittany was instrumental in planning our first ever trip to South Island New Zealand. She listened to our requirements and delivered a great tour. We were so pleased with the hire car, through to all of the accommodation and especially the in depth and comprehensive App which detailed the route. When we stayed in Queenstown, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to a suite, however having to park the car overnight several streets away as there was insufficient on site parking, wasn’t ideal. Highlights of the trip were the helicopter ride up onto the Fox Glacier, the overnight stay on Doubtful Sound. Thank you for arranging the wonderful weather, only ½ day of rain over the whole trip and fresh falls of snow on the mountains. We covered 3275 Km over the 19 days driving, before returning to Christchurch via the Trans Alpine Train. From a personal note, we did find the single night stops were hard going. Next time we will aim for a minimum of 2 nights stops, so that we can enjoy and explore the area more fully, before having to move on. To summarise, we were blown a way by the hospitality of the New Zealand people, the stunning scenery that surpassed our expectations and very happy with the motel choices. Will we come again, you bet in a heart beat.

The drive enabled me to see plenty of the beautiful scenery your country has to offer. Also the attractions i went to were great. My initial interest was Hobbiton & that tour was everything I hoped it to be. But I really want to make a special mention of the tour at the National Kiwi Hatchery. I learned so much about the kiwi & the guide who took us through was so informative. It was the highlight of my time in New Zealand.

She quickly responded to any questions both before and during our holiday and, for example, when our Helicopter Experience was cancelled due to bad weather she was quickly on the case and organised an alternative on a different day in a different venue using her experience and initiative to best effect. We were also very impressed with our tayor made 'App' which we used on a regular basis throughout our holiday. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending New Zealand Self Drive Tours.
